Sunil Sapkota is a facilitator and environmental advocate dedicated to community resilience, biodiversity conservation (Snake Rescue and snake bite management precautions and prevention), and sustainable development in Nepal. Since 2008, he has been recognized as a pioneering volunteer snake rescuer from Chitwan and has actively promoted awareness and education about snakes. He is the Founder President of Raise Hands Nepal and Editor of biodiversitynepal.com, contributing to conservation dialogue and awareness. Sunil co-established Tratak Multipurpose Pvt. Ltd. to promote Hatha Yoga, shared economy through co-working spaces, and the manufacture and supply of wildlife rescue equipment. As a certified Yoga Trainer (Yoga Siromani), he also promotes empathy and active listening through his initiatives.
